Erik Lensch - President

As President of Innovative Solar Solutions, Erik is responsible for the oversight, coordination and the financial aspects of the business. He graduated from Radford University in 1992 with a BA in Marketing. He completed the Renewable Energy Technologies: Photovoltaic Track at NC State University, Solar Energy International Developing World training, and is a certified SMA-Sunny Boy installer. Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, hiking, kayaking and of course, everything solar!

Charles Ritchey, COO

Charles has over 18 years of experience and leadership in operational roles in growth companies. Previously, he was COO of a successful start-up company in the health care industry, and has extensive experience in crisis management and financial structuring. Charles manages the operational structure at Innovative Solar and plays an active role in the development and oversight of the company's internet SEO and Government Services Administration (GSA) strategies. Charles is married with two children, enjoys travel, physical exercise, and growth company investing.     

Sean M. Hackett- System Designer

As a System Designer at Innovative Solar Solutions, Sean customizes appropriate solutions for a number of applications. These range from solar battery charging systems to renewable energy based water pumping systems for residential, agricultural, and industrial requirements. Graduating from Appalachian State University in 2007, Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Appropriate Technology. He has obtained the NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge. Sean is passionate about outdoor adventure and enjoys rock climbing, the ocean breeze and clean, free renewable energy.

Michael D. Byerly – Financial Controller

As Financial Controller at Innovative Solar Solutions, Michael handles the day-to-day accounting function, and coordinates purchasing, sales & administrative operations.  Michael graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1997 with a BA in Economics from the Friday School of Business.  His employment background includes project management & data analysis in the Home Improvement Industry as a 3rd party vendor for major manufacturers of consumer goods.  Michael enjoys the outdoors and professional sports as well as painting & photography, and spends hours each day updating his unique and ever-changing Skype signature.

Lynn Hicks 

Lynn joined Innovative Solar in September. 2006. She brings over 15 years in customer service experience. Previous to joining Innovative Solar, Lynn worked in the residential and commercial glass industry for 8 years.  She has completed the Solar and Radiant Heating and Photovoltaics Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series at NC State University.  Lynn handles system design from solar water pumping to off-grid solar applications. She also handles accounts payables, and works hard at developing and maintaining good vendor relations.

The 3.6 KW grid tied PV system on the roof of Innovative Solar Solutions Charlotte, NC headquarters saves about 2 tons of CO2 emissions every year.  As a triple bottom line compnay, we are committed to using the technology we sell to generate electricity for our own facility.
