Xantrex Technologies has been a leader in battery based inverters for many years. Their former DR Series inverter was their flagship product for off-grid systems throughout the world. The DR Series inverter has been replaced by the TR Series and is almost identical.  The TR Series inverter come in 50hz and 60hz models. These inverters have been used in remote villages, marine applications, RV's and off-grid homes.

The latest addition to the Xantrex product line is the XW Series. The XW is a battery-based system for renewable energy and backup power applications. The XW System consists of several devices, components and optional accessorie that, when installed together, create a renewable energy power system that can be customized to suit nearly any aplication - off-grid, grid-tie, or backup. Field -servicable, with out-of-the-box network capability, the complete Xantrex XW System consists of a high efficiency XW Inverter/Charger, XW Power Distribution Panel, including both AC & DC breakers, and the XW Solar Charge Controller. And on top of that, the aesthetics of the system are amazing.
