Fronius USA, based out of Brighton, MI, is a manufacturer of mid-sized solar power inverters. Fronius manufactures the IG 2000 , IG 3000 , IG 4000 and the IG 5100  grid tie inverter as well as IG Plus Series of grid-synchronous inverters.

The IG Series inverter from Fronius is one of the lightest grid-tied inverters out there, weighing in at 26 and 42 lbs. respectively.  The IG Series from Fronius also has integrated AC and DC disconnects. These attributes make installing Fronius inverters quicker, easier and less complex.

The Fronius IG Plus inverter is a new addition to the Fronius products line. It is built from a successful model and has multiple improvements. Foremost, the Fronius IG Plus has a built in 6 string combiner box and integrated, lockable DC disconnect.  Fronius has also expanded the IG Plus line to include inverter capacities from 3kW to 12kW.
