Sanyo solar module systems can be used for remote area power supply (off-grid homes and other applications) or in conjunction with a grid-tie inverter to complement a customer’s solar power with electricity from the local utility.
Innovative Solar offers Sanyo’s Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer (HIT) solar cells. Sanyo solar panels are capable of providing a 20% efficiency rating, save costs by using fewer support materials and require less installation time.
A 20-Year Limited Power Output Warranty and a 2-Year Limited Product Workmanship Warranty is included on each Sanyo solar panel.
Sanyo first started researching and developing amorphous solar cells in 1975 and was the world’s first to commercialize amorphous-type solar cell production in 1980. In 1997, Sanyo started mass production and sales of its world-leading conversion efficiency HIT solar cells.
